Welcome to our Moonseed Ragdoll Cattery!
We are an established, ethical Ragdoll cattery located in Columbus, Ohio.
We take pride in our Ragdolls (kittens and cats), and are dedicated to them, so that they are well-socialized, happy, and healthy.
We specialize in purebred Ragdolls with researched pedigrees & lineages filled with Champions, with some at the highest achievable levels.
Most importantly, we strive to maintain & promote the health of our Ragdolls as well as preserving the iconic Ragdoll temperament.
Our sire, Hawthorn, has a very rare and well-documented 97% pure RAG pedigree (pure RAG means pure Ragdoll, dating back to Ann Baker's original cats without any breed outcrossing), and the fact that he is a champion himself is very rare in Ragdolls worldwide.
It has been of personal importance to me to maintain the connection to the pure Ragdoll lineage.
Final note, below you will find our beautiful babies that are now ready for their furrever homes.

Kitten Adoption Update Feb. 2026:

We have kittens available for adoption right that will be posted within the next couple of weeks.

✅ All of our kittens have been adopted as of 2/20/2026.

We will have a few male neutered kittens available around mid March

✅ You must fill out an application to be considered for kitten adoption. You can scroll down and click on the kitten application

button if you wish to adopt one of our upcoming March kittens. The application will help you become familiar with our adoption criteria. Once your application is received and approved you will be the first to be introduced to available kittens before they are posted on website.

💡 How Our Adoption Works
We have our firm policies and strict timelines and expectations.
Every kitten adoption is handled independently, and one at a time, giving each kitten and adopter the attention they deserve.
But we keep things flowing so that our adoptions are not delayed.
Our first step is to weed out the people we do not to work with and the time wasters.
So please, forgive this first part of the adoption process, but it is necessary for our sanity!
🚨 Before You Apply
If you’re not ready to bring home a kitten now, then please don’t apply for one of our kittens. We mean it.
we wish to pair these kittens with adopters who are ready.
When you apply, you will have time to read all of our policies, please take them seriously - because we certainly will!
✅ Steps to Apply
At this time we do not have kittens currently ready adoption, however, we have a litter that will be ready to go to their forever homes by mid march 2026. There will be a few neutered males available for adoption from this litter (no females).
If you are interested in adopting a March kitten please scroll down and click on the kitten application button to apply to adopt a future kitten. We are not taking deposits nor application fees. If you application is approved you will be notified by email when to expect the first peak at available babies (and the option to adopt). We reserve first selection for return adopters. After they have chosen their kittens, you will be contacted in order of application approval. We predict kittens will be able to join their new families by mid to late March.

Communication is maintained by email only. No exceptions. If that’s not okay with you, please don’t apply.
We rely on written communication for our protection, and you should too when working with breeders.
Written communication is for both party's protection.
Adopters are sent a generous amount of educational information via email to help prepare for their future kitten.

Meet Marshmellow!
He is the kind of boy that stands out. He’s a big kitten with that unmistakable Moonseed temperament: social, confident, and always the first to greet anyone who walks in. He has that classic “puppy cat” way about him, following you from room to room like he’s genuinely invested in whatever you’re doing.
Marshmellow is the definition of a true RAG personality. Pick him up and he goes soft in your arms. Sit down and he’s immediately in your lap. He loves being held, loves being involved, and loves people.
Fetch is his favorite game; he’ll drop the toy at your feet and wait, fully expecting you to keep the game going. If you open a cabinet, he’s there. If you switch rooms, he’s already ahead of you. He likes to "hang" out on our piano to get our attention.
He’s ready to go home today. He fits well in many types of homes either with kids, without kids, with other pets or as the only one. What matters is that he has at least one human who enjoys a highly social companion.

Hi I have been working with Moonseed Ragdolls for a year and a half now. I was thinking about getting one kitty. After seeing the beautiful kitties that Moonseed Ragdolls produced I got 2 kittens. They are perfect. Then I went back for one more. He is also wonderful. They are such social butterflies. They love being around each other and people. They also let my little grandchildren hold them and play with them. They are so beautiful and perfect that I’m getting one more Stephanie is an honest and reputable breeder. These kittens are hand raised by Stephanie and her family. They are very loving and well socialized. I have had cats all my life and loved them all. But these kitties have stolen my heart. Where to start...ok - to give a bit of a back story, we had a pretty traumatic experience with a different breeder the year before and our sweet baby at 1 year old passed away from a mixture of issues due to inbreeding. Suffice it to say, after that I was so scared to open my heart again, that it took me a while but after seeing how the loss was affecting our Maine coon and other Ragdoll, we made the decision as a family to try again. I messaged and spoke to countless catteries and breeders over a 3-month period and thank my lucky stars, I finally found Steph at MoonSeed and I knew I had found the one! From the first contact with her, she was not only knowledgeable about the breed, but also so sweet and kind and I knew I could trust her.
We were a little worried as our Maine coon (Loki) was almost 4 then and our other Ragdoll (Freya) was almost 2 and we wanted to make sure we had a kitten that would be ok with other cats in the home.
Isabella, (now known as Nova) came home to us on 7/10/2022 and it has been nothing short of a miracle. She loves both my husband and me and adores her new brother and sister, as they do her. From the moment she got here, it was so evident to see the love and care that Steph and her family put into their kittens. MoonSeed ragdolls are raised in a home filled with so much love and kindness that they exude the same on their new parents and siblings. The transition period for our other two cats was so seamless, it was almost like Nova had been here from the start. With her here now, it truly feels like our home is complete.
She always runs and greets my husband at the door with purrs each day. I work from home and call her my little white shadow as she goes where I go, whether at my desk working or on my lunch break, she is right there with me. One of her (many) nicknames we have for her is Purr-monster, as all it takes is one pet and she automatically purrs and makes her little biscuits.
After going through so much sadness with our other experience, Steph, in her knowledge and wisdom of all things Ragdoll, was able to help heal our hearts.
